Our Journey

During my wife's pregnancy, an app that tracked our baby's growth sparked a moment of inspiration. As we followed the journey from seed to life, I crafted a bowl planter, symbolising our growing family and the world we were creating together.

In creating a mini garden with winding pathways, I envisioned a metaphor for the support and guidance we would offer our newborn, no matter which path life led us down. Each design was a labour of love, admired by those who witnessed the digital craftsmanship and creativity.

As our daughter grew, so did our careers, and the idea of sharing our Mini World with the public remained a dream. But life has a way of guiding us to new paths...

Fast forward a few years, and a career break opened the door to new possibilities. Encouraged by family, we showcased our creations at the Botanical Gardens in Leicester in July 2023. With no branding or marketing, it was a pure expression of our passion and the response was overwhelming.

From that moment, we embarked on a journey across Nottingham and Leicester, sharing our expanding collection of planter bowls and accessories at event after event. Each step fuelled our creativity and determination.

After our final event of the year, we gathered as a family and chose to embrace this new journey fully. Welcome to Botanical Interior Design | Made By Kacey.

With our calendar filling up, we embraced branding, marketing, and business development, guided by our family ethos. Though we're still learning and experimenting, we remain open and honest in all we do.

Our debut at the RHS Urban Show was a transformative experience, with over 20,000 visitors in just four days. It was a steep learning curve, but one we embraced wholeheartedly.

Building on our experiences and networks, we were thrilled to receive our first RHS Trade Stand Award with 4 Stars. Eager to improve, I sought feedback for future growth—exciting plans are already in motion!

While I've been fulfilling personalised requests, there is so much more on the horizon. New designs, products, and services are coming soon, and we can't wait to share them with you.
